Pieta grew up in Palmerston North and moved to Auckland to attend University. She completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in 2020 and was admitted to the Bar in 2022. Pieta worked as a Law Clerk and then as a Graduate at a boutique firm in Auckland before joining McVeagh Fleming in June 2022, working closely with Dong-on Lee.
