George possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in various forms of dispute resolution, including civil, employment, and family law litigation and mediation. He has recently been handling complex relationship property disputes, many of which involve trusts and cross-border issues. \
He also offers assistance in the early stages of relationships, such as when parties are considering a prenuptial agreement or other means of asset protection.
George has experience in emergency relief, such as mareva injunctions and anton pillar orders, particularly in the realm of intellectual property.
Additionally, he has practiced in media law, both defending and prosecuting defamation cases, and has challenged decisions of censorship bodies in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Whether it is a commercial or personal matter, clients appreciate George's ability to provide practical and tailored advice that aims to achieve the best outcome in the most cost-effective way, whether it be through court, mediation, or arbitration. If a case must go to court, George ensures that it is presented with fearlessness and professionalism.
After gaining valuable experience working at two prominent commercial firms, George teamed up with Deidre Milne and Tony Walker in 1987 to launch Milne Ireland Walker. This dynamic trio successfully built their firm over the years, and in 2004, they made the strategic decision to merge with another company, resulting in the formation of LawWorks.
