I have had considerable experience in all aspects of dispute resolution including, civil employment and family law litigation and mediation. More recently I have been acting on more complex relationship property disputes often involving trusts and cross border disputes.
I can also assist at the commencement of a relationship when parties are considering a pre-nuptial agreement or other means of protecting assets.
Civil work has included emergency relief by way of mareva injunction and anton pillar orders, particularly in the area of intellectual property. I have also practiced in the area of media law including defamation, both defending and prosecuting, and in the area of censorship including challenging decisions of the Censor and the Film and Literature Board of Review in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
Whether it is a commercial or personal matter, clients like the fact that I can provide them with pragmatic advice tailored to achieve the best result for them in the most cost-effective way whether this be by court, mediation or arbitration. If the matter must go to court then it is important that your case is presented fearlessly and professionally.

I worked in two large commercial firms before establishing a firm with Deidre Milne and Tony Walker in 1987 known as Milne Ireland Walker. This firm later went through a merger in 2004 to become LawWorks.
Out of work I enjoy the outdoors, particularly boating. I also have a keen interest in the arts.
