George commenced his legal career in South Africa in 2006. Having completed his articles of clerkship at a reputable Johannesburg based law firm, he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. After completing his pupillage, George joined the independent Bar in 2010 and commenced practise as a Barrister Sole (Advocate) before relocating to New Zealand in 2018.
Before joining McVeagh Fleming in 2020 George, practised from a respected Auckland City based law firm.
George is part of the Litigation and Disputes Resolution practice in Albany and works primarily with Partner, James Turner.
George possesses strong and diversified civil litigation experience across various fields including credit contracts and consumer finance, commercial contracts, bankruptcy and insolvency, and company law (directors duties and shareholders disputes) and debt recovery. George has also appeared as defence counsel in criminal matters.
George is fluent in Greek and Afrikaans.
