Kiri is an Associate in the Family Law and Relationship Property Team at McVeagh Fleming’s City Office.
She regularly appears in the Family Court on matters relating to care arrangements for children and family violence proceedings across Auckland. With extensive experience in parenting disputes, family violence, and relationship property matters, Kiri provides clear, practical advice to help clients resolve disputes efficiently. She has represented clients at mediations, Court hearings, and round-table meetings with lawyer for child. While she is an experienced advocate, Kiri’s main focus is keeping disagreements out of Court, and she has successfully resolved numerous relationship property disputes through negotiation.
Kiri is an active member of the Family Law Committee for The Law Association, giving her valuable insight into current issues facing the Family Court and the family law profession. She also serves as Deputy Chair of the Hobsonville Point Residents’ Society and as a mentor in the University of Auckland Law School Women’s Mentorship Programme.
Originally from Christchurch, Kiri holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago and a Master of Forensic Science from the University of Auckland. She completed her LLB (Hons) at Auckland University of Technology.
