Ala specialises in all areas of private client law, with particular expertise in estate planning, including trusts, wills, and enduring powers of attorney. She also advises on relationship property matters, estate administration, and estate litigation.
As a court-appointed lawyer, Ala regularly accepts appointments from the Family Court under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988, acting to protect the interests of vulnerable individuals. In addition, she provides guidance on residential property transactions, including retirement village conveyancing.
Ala is also an experienced presenter and frequently delivers legal webinars for CCH Wolters Kluwer, sharing her insights on topics such as estate administration and will drafting.
She has recently completed a STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates and is now officially a TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner).
