I help individuals and companies who have legal problems to solve. I assist with all kinds of civil disputes from family and relationship property disputes through to commercial, estates, trusts and employment disputes.
My knowledge of the law: the risks, chances, costs and preferences and how you apply these, mean I can cut to the chase and help you resolve your issue in a way that you can live with.
When you have a dispute, you don’t always need a judge to give you an answer but it helps if your lawyer knows what the judge might say. I’ll make you feel comfortable and will use my practical legal knowledge to help you find the smoothest pathway to resolve your problem. I’ll keep you informed every step of the way and I won’t add to your stress.
My clients say they like the fact I ‘persevere with their course’, and that I ‘help them achieve their objectives’. I’ve helped many clients reach settlement without incurring massive expense by keeping them out of court. If it’s the most appropriate course of action to resolve your dispute, I’ll do the same for you.

As a child I always wanted to be a lawyer. After graduating I worked in Papakura and then in Wanganui, which gave me good exposure to a wide cross-section of society and a multitude of issues. I then moved to Auckland and worked for one of the leading mid-sized firms before joining Kennedy Tudhope as a partner. The firm merged with McVeagh Fleming in 2000.
I enjoy listening to, and appreciating, different genres of music. I’m an ex-competitive swimmer and I enjoy swimming to keep fit. I also like jogging, gardening and spending time with my five children.
