Alexandra has an approachable and friendly nature and offers a high level of integrity. She enjoys problem solving and believes her ability to think creatively is one of her strongest assets.

Prior to joining McVeagh Fleming, Alexandra gained valuable experience in property law and commercial matters at a well-established Warkworth firm.

With prior commercial experience and plenty of life experience, Alexandra is well placed to understand client's individual needs and has the skills required to help clients achieve their objectives.

Background

Alexandra grew up on a farm in Taihape and attended secondary school in Hawkes Bay.  After leaving school she received a BCom from Otago University.  Alexandra travelled overseas and worked in the UK where she met her husband.  

Prior to becoming a lawyer, she had a career in banking and stockbroking.  Alexandra thoroughly enjoyed the finance industry but felt drawn to study law so she returned to university whilst raising her two young daughters.  In 2020, Alexandra completed her LLB (Hons) from Auckland University of Technology and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court the following year.

Alexandra enjoys going for a walk or swim at the beach.  She is happiest when spending time with family and friends. Alexandra also loves to travel, explore new places and meet new people.
