Demeter Young

Demeter is a member of McVeagh Fleming’s Family Law and Relationship Property team and is based at the Albany office.

She advises clients across a wide range of matters, including Family Court proceedings involving parenting, guardianship, and family violence, as well as relationship property disputes and contracting out agreements.

Demeter understands that family law matters are often complex, personal, and emotionally challenging. She works closely with her clients, providing practical and concise advice while seeking constructive solutions to their legal matters.

Demeter was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2023 having completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Auckland.

Before focusing on family law, she gained valuable experience at a firm specialising in complex civil and commercial disputes.
