Tom joined McVeagh Fleming in November 2015 as a Summer Clerk days after finishing his final University exams and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in July 2016.
Born in Auckland to English and Australian parents, Tom studied at the University of Otago from 2011 to 2015.
Tom has a particular interest in Trust law and litigation, with the emerging legal doctrine of Illusory Trusts being the subject of his Honours dissertation.
Tom works closely with Partner, Peter Fuscic, on Trust, Estate and Relationship Property matters, both in Court and around the mediation table.
Tom is quite the able sportsman, playing cricket, football and rugby. He also enjoys going to the gym, and running to raise money for charities. When he is not on the sports field, he will be either watching or taking part in various musicals, revues and performances. Tom loves to travel, and especially enjoys going to Australia and the United Kingdom to visit his extended family.
